3/30/25- Sunday Morning Service
Modern American Christianity encourages young people to "sow their wild oats" when they're young, and then start coming to church once they're older and "wiser". But what does God say about that kind of attitude? In II Chronicles 34, the Word tells us the story of King Josiah who, between the ages of 16 and 20, diligently sought the Lord and His will for the children of Israel. Because of his willingness to seek the Lord's face, He blessed him. However, this type of work is not for the faint of heart; seeking the Lord requires us to get rid of the bad first, fix the "temple" up, and read the Word. Once we do those three things, duties will change from a chore to a delight, giving will be easy, and we will have genuine motivation from the heart to do the right thing.
